As a company, we've been around since 2015 - however, the vast majority of our business came from word of mouth & networking. While that's a great way to build a relationship with potential clients, every business looking for rapid growth needs a consistent stream of hot, inbound leads. We've always done great work in SEO for our clients, but up until 2020, we've never invested our efforts into doing SEO for our own company.
Our primary objective was (and still is) to generate a never-ending, constantly growing stream of new business by ranking on the first page for search terms that match what we do, including web design, web development, PPC advertising, SEO, social media management, and outbound marketing - just to name a few.
Here's the thing about being a digital marketing agency - your competition is filled with companies who are investing in their SEO, meaning it's a very, very high competition niche. Our challenge was to figure out how to beat the competition in these keywords which can have an extremely high level of competition.
Most SEO companies will spend lots of time (and lots of your money) trying to rank you on the first page for high-competition keywords. Unless you already have a high domain authority, we think that's a futile effort. To start growing our traffic, we invested into ranking for keywords that don't have a high level of competition yet, but still have a fairly high search volume.
There's only a value to your visitors if you're able to convert them on your website - that's why we focus on heavily optimizing the pages we rank for in order to boost the conversion rate as high as possible, and as a result, maximize our revenue.
